Who we are

Energy Contract Solutions (ECS) was formed in 2002 to fill a growing gap in the provision of expert commercial support and advice to the upstream and downstream gas business. It has subsequently developed and expanded its range of competencies and services into the power, oil and gas liquids sectors. ECS provides cost effective and performance related services; our customers pay on key deliverables to their business; results are clearly linked to the delivery of shareholder value in the client environment.

ECS provides quality commercial services utilising competent and experienced industry consultants to supplement a client's existing resource or to provide resources that are not available in-house.

Currently ECS has two Co-Directors; Steve Roser (founding Dir) and Neil Bailey. Steve has spent over 25 years in the Oil and Gas Industry working for many of the majors including Shell, Amerada Hess, ConocoPhillips and British Gas.

Neil has 30 years of experience in the Energy Sector and has led teams in BP and other utility companies managing supply and Contract Energy Management arrangements his recent responsibilities include managing BP’s £2.2 billion portfolio of long-term contracts based in BP’s Canary Wharf offices.

ECS can offer experience across the gas value chain from production through to delivery at the meter and point of use. More importantly, ECS has an impressive list of past and present clients a record and ability to deliver mutually beneficial arrangements across the business and throughout the world.
